Subrodip Roy.

Student, builder, citizen of Earth.

Eighteen. Class 11, CBSE, PCM. Quietly preparing for JEE & BITSAT 2028 and a CS undergrad at a tier-1 Indian university. And, more importantly, for whatever comes after.

About

I'm Subrodip. Eighteen, in Class 11, and stubbornly curious about almost everything that runs the world or sits above it.

My days are split between PCM textbooks and a much wider self-directed curriculum: technology, science, computers, the cosmos, economics, politics, human history and governance. I don't treat these as separate subjects so much as different lenses for the same question: how does the world work, and how can it work better?

The near plan is small and clear: stay grounded in the basics, sit JEE Advanced and BITSAT in 2028, and earn a place to study computer science at a tier-1 Indian university. What happens after that is genuinely unknown to me, and that's the part I'm most excited about. The possibilities are endless, and all of them are good.

Outside the books: music I love loudly, films and games I think about long after, and the daily habit of trying to keep up with current affairs.

Curiosities

Ten lenses I look through. They're not separate hobbies; they're the same question, asked from different angles.

01

Technology

How the tools we build quietly redraw what people can do.

02

Science

First principles, patient experiments, the long road to a clear sentence.

03

Computers

Languages, systems, and the strange poetry of getting machines to think with us.

04

Cosmos

Scale that humbles. The night sky is the first physics textbook.

05

Economics

Incentives, trade-offs, and the invisible architecture of choice.

06

Politics

How power moves, who it reaches, and who it forgets.

07

Human history

The same dramas, new costumes. A library of warnings and proofs.

08

Governance

The hard, unsexy craft of designing systems that hold under pressure.

09

Music

The fastest route I know from a thought to a feeling.

10

Films & games

Worlds built carefully enough to walk inside, and remember.

Journey

A short, honest plan. The known steps to the gate, and a frank acknowledgement that what lies past it is a story I haven't written yet.

  • 2026

    Class 11 · PCM foundations

The slow work: physics, chemistry, math, and the discipline to sit with a hard problem until it stops being hard.

  • 2027

    Class 12 · prep deepens

Mocks, revisions, and the quiet compounding that turns thousands of small reps into one fluent answer.

  • 2028

JEE Advanced + BITSAT · the gate

Two exams. Months of work distilled into hours. The plan is simple: show up prepared.

  • 2029+

    CS undergrad, tier-1

Computer science at a tier-1 Indian university. Where the textbook ends and the real questions begin.

  • Beyond

Build for India · build for Earth

What comes after the degree is a mystery only time can unfold. The possibilities are endless, and all of them are good.

Mission

One thing is for sure: whatever I do in my life will be dedicated to my Nation, and to the people of this planet that we call Home.

Technology, science, the cosmos, economics, history, governance: each of these is a lever. I want to learn to pull them with care, with patience, and with a long view.

The plan after the gate is not yet written. What I can promise is the shape of it: useful work, in the open, for the people who don't get to choose the world they were born into.
